Thai Basil Beef
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup Dynasty fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 cups firmly packed basil leaves
Heat large pan with oil over medium heat, coat pan well. Add garlic, cook for 20 seconds, stir constantly. In same pan, add ground beef, cook for 5 minutes or until done.Mix in sauce, sugar and basil to the pan and cook for another 3 minutes. Remove from heat and drizzle with lime juice, mix well then transfer to a plate, serve hot with rice.
Makes 10 servings, about 1/2 cup each.
